String Noise is New York's most daring violin duo. Their first feature album “The Book of Strange Positions” was released on Northern Spy Records in November 2015. Tiny Mix Tapes describes this collection of original works and arrangements by Eric Lyon of Bad Brains, Violent Femmes, Deerhoof, Radiohead, and Black Flag as a “mix of classic punk covers and ZERO APOLOGIES.”
The Decline of Western Civilization is an American documentary film filmed through 1979 and 1980. The movie is about the Los Angeles punk rock scene and was directed by Penelope Spheeris.
